As World War II and Korean War veterans slipped away, many missed their chance to learn about their experiences or ask a relative about their contribution to the war effort. Now, as we reflect on the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, we see our Vietnam generation aging as well. The Vietnam War was controversial and divisive, and we saw our veterans treated poorly because of their service. This should never happen again.

In honor of Veterans Day, meet several local men from various service branches who served their country with honor. These veterans have agreed to serve again as part of a panel discussion regarding the Vietnam War and their experiences. Steve Quesinberry will moderate.
